Pay rate: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per Year
TEKsystems has partnered with an International organization to deliver on
both new development and re-writes of legacy systems. We are seeking a Sr.
ColdFusion Developer that will be based in the Twin Cities. This person will
be replacing a Senior team member. The right candidate will have a deep
background in all phases of the SDLC. Straight on, heads-down developers
need not apply.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Candidates must be willing and able
to convert to a FTE without sponsorship.
The Cold Fusion team supports several different projects and each team
member will have accountability to deliver on multiple projects. There will
be a lot of challenge and variety in this role. This team has monthly
releases that require enhancements, fixing defects, and cleaning up backlog.
The project portfolio ranges from pulling legacy applications forward to new
development with cutting edge technology and complex integration.
Duration
1 year plus
Minimum Qualifications:
5 plus years Cold Fusion Development.
Flex is a plus for this position but is desired.
The ColdFusion Web Developer will:
-Develop innovative software using industry best practices in a team of
high-performing professionals in a company where technology is a leading
differentia tor in our market
-Create web-based tools, utilities, websites, and reports in support of
business needs
-Develop business and requirements artifacts that effectively model the
customer's requirements using use cases, activity diagrams, and other UML
diagrams
-Develop design models from requirements models using class diagrams,
interaction diagrams, and other UML diagrams
-Understand and develop database Entity Relationship Diagrams.
-Perform object to relational mapping to support the database model in an
object oriented design
-Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews
-Write and execute unit tests
-Create and implement designs following strict internal coding standards
-Maintain and support mission-critical applications as necessary
Technical Experience Required:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, a technology discipline, or
equivalent experience
-Significant ColdFusion development experience (ColdFusion 8.01 and
multi-instance configuration experience preferred)
-Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript (AJAX experience desired)
-Experience in software architecture
-Experience developing business applications using SQL (preferably Microsoft
SQL Server)
-Experience with relational database systems
-Experience with an iterative development process
-Understands the concepts of business objects, layered design, data access
objects, and design patterns.
-Knowledgeable in UML, MXUnit (or other unit testing framework), Stored
Procedures and Triggers
-Adobe ColdFusion Certification preferred
-Object-oriented Analysis and Design experience desired
-Java development and Tomcat/Java web services experience desired
