TEKsystems is currently accepting resumes for the position of Lead
ColdFusion Developer. This is a contract to hire position with a client of
ours located in Chanhassen.
Candidates must be eligible for permanent hire without sponsorship. Local
candidates strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical expertise in Coldfusion, JavaScript and HTML
and SQL.
- Lead and mentor team members in Coldfusion application development
- Work with Product Development team to develop new and maintain existing
projects
- Organize, analyze and control the activities of the project team.
- Assign personnel to the various projects and directs their activities
- Investigate and recommend strategic alternatives to the current solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Application documentation: develop and manage code and utilities library
for component reuse in development projects
- Adhering to coding and methodology standards defined by best practices and
compliance requirements
- Candidate must have ability to lead and influence change in a
collaborative positive manner
- Must be very adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience
- 7 or more years experience with strong team leadership and technical
architect skills
- 7 or more years of experience in ColdFusion 4.5 8
- 5 or more years of experience client based scripting language such as
JavaScript
- 5 or more years experience with SQL (Microsoft Server preferred)
- Strong ColdFusion Component (CFC) experience
- Experience in developing .Net solutions
- Knowledge of Class Action industry is desirable
Desired Technical Experience:
- ColdFusion experience
- Object-oriented experience (CFCs)
- MVC and ORM framework experience
- Java experience
- Multi-threaded experience
- Knowledge of good design patterns
- Experience working in Microsoft .Net
- Migration of solutions between .Net and Coldfusion
- MSSQL
- HTML/XHTML/CSS
- JavaScript (jQuery)
- AJAX
- JSON
- XML
- Apache web server
- Unit Testing (MXUnit, JUnit, JSUnit)
- SVN and Hudson (continuous integration)
- CFCUnit/JUnit unit testing Experience with version control (Subversion)
- SSL, encryption and application security
