Structure Networks is in search of a Senior Cold Fusion Developer for an automotive service provider near Columbus, OH.
Software Development opportunity for a leading online automotive service provider.
Client is in need of a Senior Developer. You will contribute your programming expertise both individually and leading projects in an entrepreneurial environment. You will support a successful revenue producing product in the marketplace as well as develop the next generation improvements.
For over 15 years, our client has been working to help automotive dealers serve customers and sell cars more effectively. They began by providing inventory polling services and dealer web site development. As customers began to use the internet more to search for their next vehicle, they saw a new way to help automotive dealers. The company decided to move from inventory polling and web site creation to providing a solution that helped dealers manage customer leads generated from the Internet.
Using web control, our client provides automotive dealers a way to receive and work their ever-increasing number of internet leads more effectively.
JOB DUTIES
Provide analysis, design and development skills for key systems.
Translation of technical specifications into finished software product, through: analysis of requirements to identify and communicate specification gaps, risks, optimizations, to the business users
Design of the solution including architectural and system considerations and, software programming and testing, as needed
Direct interface with architects, analysts, management, change control and operations.
Potentially direct interface specifications with business users
Application of software development process best practices
Knowledge: Has broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
Job Complexity:
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience.
5+ combined years of application development using Coldfusion (Required) plus an Object Oriented language (C++, Java, etc.); C# .Net experience strongly preferred
5+ years of application development using SQL Server (OLTP, stored procedures, optimizations, etc.)
3+ years of application development using XML/XSLT/SOAP using web services
N-tier development experience with high volume enterprise systems
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Works well in a small, focused team environment with short lines of communication
Background in automotive industry technology helpful, but not required
Tools skills: Visual Studio, Visual Source Safe, SQL Enterprise
